Through a friendly, in-depth consultation, we explore how you live in and use the space, uncover what matters most to you, and help clarify your vision. Using a combination of 2D and 3D layouts alongside carefully curated mood boards, we begin to craft interiors that balance beauty and practicality, enhancing the way our clients experience daily life.

Phase Two: Design & Specification

In this phase, we bring your vision to life through detailed 3D visuals, carefully curated samples, and comprehensive specification lists tailored to your individual needs, style, and budget. Every decision is considered to ensure your home reflects your personality while functioning seamlessly.

As an independent design consultancy, York House Designs draws on strong, collaborative relationships with suppliers and manufacturers both nationally and internationally. This gives us unparalleled access to a wide spectrum of products — from established luxury brands to independent makers, bespoke creations, and reclaimed treasures. There are no limits to where our creativity can take us, and we are confident in sourcing exactly the right elements to elevate each project.

To ensure flawless execution, we also produce precise 2D working drawings, providing clear guidance for the trades and translating our vision accurately into the finished space.

Phase Three: Procurement & Management

Our team manage every stage of your project from start to finish, giving you complete confidence that your renovation is in capable and trusted hands. Whether working alongside your builder or coordinating with our recommended specialist installers, we ensure the process is seamless, efficient, and stress-free.

Leveraging our extensive network of suppliers, we handle all procurement and act as the primary point of contact for deliveries and logistics. We are present on site at key stages to ensure every element meets our exacting standards.

The team are often praised by trades for their technical knowledge, hands-on approach, and realistic understanding of what can—and cannot—be achieved on site. This combination of design expertise and practical insight ensures that projects run smoothly and the vision is upheld.
