Carefully curated colour schemes across all your furniture, fixtures and finishes. Complete specification lists for your approval prior to handling all procurement and logistics.

We can even organise the packing, removing and storing of your belongings as well as un-packing and organising plus any art installations.

home Bar & CiNEmA

Entertainment and chill out spaces deserve just as much consideration as those parts of our homes which we use every day. Here we are working closely alongside audio experts to create the dream home-cinema room for our clients. A design scheme integrating perfectly with the tactile and luxurious finishes in the basement bar, with back-lit onyx counter tops, venetian plaster ceiling and temperature controlled wine storage.

KiDS PLAY ROOMS

Involving your family in the design of the places where they sleep and play can be so much fun. We were thrilled when these two girl’s asked if they could have a swing and slide in their bedroom and even more excited when their parent’s said “go for it” and granted us the design freedom to come up with a bespoke cabinetry concept including bunk beds, storage drawers and shelving for all their toys and books, plus a chalk board.

outdoor living

Outdoor living is no longer something reserved for the southern hemisphere. Our clients are embracing indoor-outdoor living all year round. By adding a fully retractable and heated pergola over your outdoor kitchen you can wow your guests with your Big Green Egg and pizza oven dinners no matter the season. This patio design includes a sunken hot-tub, fire bowl and outdoor TV in addition to a contemporary outdoor kitchen complete with Teppanyaki and beer tap.

Our Founding Designer Julia is a big fan of outdoor cooking and entertaining too. Particularly in the Autumn bringing Hygge to her roof terrace in Twickenham with mulled cider enjoyed whilst cosy under blankets and gathered around a fie bowl. Ask her about her Kamado recipes for smoked trout, lamb shawarma and even Earl Grey muffins and smoked orange crème brûleé.

Working with Julia from York House Designs is the single best decision we made when it came to our project. We have absolutely no design or build experience so when we decided to knock down the home we had bought and start again it was overwhelming to say the least. The fact we considered if we actually needed a design consultant is now laughable. What Julia has added to our project is invaluable, her expertise and commitment to our project is unwavering. She has taken on our vision so well it's like she can read our minds - Julia knows what we want before we do. Julia has gone above and beyond at every opportunity, this is a massive project and our lack of experience means we have needed a lot of hand holding and Julia has been amazing at doing that - even from her honeymoon! I cannot recommend Julia and the team at York House Designs enough, she has quite literally made our dream home a reality. Thank you!
